The Atlantic Legal Foundation is a nonprofit, nonpartisan public interest law firm with a demonstrable history of advancing the rule of law in courts and before administrative agencies by advocating for individual liberty, school choice, free enterprise, limited, effective government, and sound science in the courtroom. The Prize will be presented at the APS March 2012 meeting in Boston and will be shared with Dr. Mulugeta Bekele of the University of Addis Ababa.
Richard Wilson is Mallinckrodt Research Professor of Physics Emeritus at Harvard University. For decades, he has been a key figure in Atlantic Legal's campaign against the use of junk science in court.
