The Atlantic Legal Foundation is a nonprofit, nonpartisan public interest law firm with a demonstrable history of advancing the rule of law in courts and before administrative agencies by advocating for individual liberty, school choice, free enterprise, limited, effective government, and sound science in the courtroom. Atlantic Legal provides effective and decisive legal representation, without fee, to parents, scientists, educators, and other individuals, corporations and trade associations.
Atlantic Legal's cases in the past year alone have resulted in the protection of the rights of thousands of school children, employees, independent businessmen, and entrepreneurs. In case after case, Atlantic Legal brings about favorable resolutions for individuals and corporations who continue to be challenged by those who use the legal process to deny fundamental rights and liberties.

Three distinguished public servants thoughtfully presented the Atlantic Legal Foundation with proclamations, praising the Foundation's work and dedication, at Atlantic Legal's 25th Anniversary Celebration in June, 2001. The three: Mayor Rudolph Giuliani of New York City, Governor Tom Ridge of Pennsylvania and Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania.
In 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 Mayor Bloomberg favored Atlantic Legal with proclamations honoring it, and our Annual Award honorees, Pfizer's Hank McKinnel (2002), AIG's Maurice Greenberg (2003), Senator George Mitchell (2004) and Tyco's Edward D. Breen (2005).
Just as it is a mark of great pride for Atlantic Legal to have been so honored, Atlantic Legal has been especially privileged to have honored all of our Annual Award recipients, each an individual of extraordinary accomplishment.
