Robert A. Lonergan
| Executive Vice President and General Counsel (Ret.) Rohm and Haas Company Philadelphia, PA Robert Lonergan in Vice President and General Counsel at Rohm and Haas Company, Philadelphia. As such he supervises the efforts of 45 in-house attorneys and scores of outside firms that handle the various legal affairs of this $6 billion, publicly-traded, specialty chemicals and electronic materials company. Mr. Lonergan is a trustee of the Institute for Law and Economics at the University of Pennsylvania and of the Walnut Street Theatre, serves as a member of the Corporate Executive Board of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Science, Technology and Law Panel of the National Academies. Prior to joining Rohm and Haas, Mr. Lonergan served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Pegasus Gold Inc. and before that Vice President, General Counsel and member of the Board of Directors of Kennecott Corp. Mr. Lonergan began his practice with the anti-trust group at Cadwalader, Wickersham, & Taft in New York. Mr. Lonergan earned his A.B. and J.D. degrees from Fordham University and served as an intelligence officer in Vietnam. |
