With Business-Finance & JD degrees from the University of Kansas & a Master of Laws in Corporate Law from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, Hayward “Dan” Fisk has served for over 25 years as Chairman, and for the past 7 years as President, of the Atlantic Legal Foundation (atlanticlegal.org), a nonprofit, nonpartisan public interest law firm with a distinguished Board & Advisory Council and an over four-decade record of advancing the rule of law by advocating limited & efficient government, property rights, free enterprise, individual liberty, effective education through school choice and parental rights, and as America’s leading advocate for sound science in the courts and in regulatory proceedings.

Mr. Fisk served Sprint Corp. in various legal and executive capacities for 21 years, including as VP-GC of its Eastern Group in Carlisle, PA, and VP-Washington Counsel in DC during the Reagan years, and VP-Associate GC at Sprint’s headquarters in Kansas City before joining Fortune 150 CSC as its SVP-GC in LA for 20 years. Upon retiring from CSC, Fisk joined the then largest law firm in the world, DLA Piper, as a Sr. Partner for 3 years, then worked part time for 5 years in an Of Counsel capacity for Anderson Kill, the premier insurance coverage / recovery firm in the nation, while serving as the EVP-GC of CoreStrategy Corp, an EBITDA-focused real estate advisory firm.

Mr. Fisk also has served as President of the Ass’n of Corporate Counsel in Southern CA and on that organization’s Int’l Board; on the Board of the Am. Ass’n of Corporate Secretaries & Gov’t Professionals; on the Board of the PA Chamber of Commerce; on the Steering Cmte. of the Business Roundtable in DC; on the Advisory Boards of the Carlisle War College, Dickinson College, as President of the Carlisle Chamber of Commerce and as Vice Chairman of the Carlisle Hospital; and on special advisory committees to the FCC. He also served on a special committee on civil justice reform, chaired by former Vice President Dan Quayle, along with former Solicitor General Ted Olson and Attorney General Bill Barr and on the Board of Governors of the KU Law School. Early in his career, he served as a City Councilman and Chairman of the Zoning and Planning Commission in the major Kansas City suburb of Merriam, KS, and more recently in CA as Chairman of the Bel Air Homeowners Alliance, and over the years on many other civic, professional, private and public boards, including the American Film Institute.

Mr. Fisk received the 2000 National American Corporate Counsel Association Excellence in Corporate Practice Award for professional accomplishments in corporate practice, personal integrity, and commitment to the advancement of law, and the 2002 ACCA S. CA Corporate Counsel of the Year award.
