Frederick T. Elder, Ph.D., P.E., Professor Charles M. Elson and Dr. Philip Guzelian have joined Atlantic Legal’s Advisory Council. Dr. Elder is President of Frederick T. Elder & Associates, engineering consultants in Madison, Wisconsin. He has over thirty years experience as an engineering consultant, teacher and researcher. Professor Elson is Edgar S. Woolard, Jr., Chair of Corporate Governance and Director of the John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance at the University of Delaware, in Newark, Delaware. He has written extensively on the subject of boards of directors and is frequently consulted for his views on corporate governance issues.
Dr. Guzelian is Professor of Medicine and Pharmacology and Director of Medical Toxicology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. One of his principal research interests focuses on the detection and response by the liver to low doses of chemicals foreign to the body, including drugs, carcinogens, toxins and other compounds.
