The program will show in-house and outside counsel for corporations how to reduce litigation costs without sacrificing successful results. Whether you are an experienced attorney seeking to refine and update your skills or a less-experienced attorney seeking an overview, this invaluable program will give you the practical guidance and strategies you need to succeed in corporate litigation. The program features an outstanding faculty of General Counsel of major corporations, leading law firm litigators and federal and state judges. During a series of interactive panel discussions, the panelists will respond to questions from the moderator. The speakers will focus on strategies and practical advice for maximizing the cost-effectiveness and productivity of corporate litigation. In particular, they will discuss techniques for advancing a clients interests as well as potential pitfalls or traps for the unwary. Topics covered will range from planning, budgeting and fee arrangements, to electronic discovery and litigation technology, and will include ethics issues in corporate litigation.
A total of 7.0 CLE credits will be provided, including 6.0 credits in professional practice and 1.0 credit in ethics.
