Bob Haig Elected to Board; John Kenney Joins Advisory Council.

Robert L. Haig, a partner of Kelley Drye & Warren in New York City, has been elected to the Foundations Board of Directors. Mr. Haig is an experienced litigator who has also distinguished himself in service to the bar. Some of his professional activities include: service as President of the New York County Lawyers Association; Member of the New York State Bar Associations Executive Committee; Chair of the Committee on the Judiciary of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York; Member of the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association; and, Member of the American Law Institute. Mr. Haig has also written and lectured extensively on various litigation topics.

John Kenney of Engel McCarney & Kenney in New York City has been appointed to the Foundations Advisory Council. Mr. Kenney was a partner of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, specializing in complex civil and criminal litigation, from 1981 until 2005. He earlier served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York and as the Executive Assistant U.S. Attorney. Mr. Kenney is a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. He is the former President of the New York County Lawyers Association and of the Federal Bar Council and has served as the Chair of the Criminal Law Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. He has published extensively.
