Atlantic Legal Foundation presented its Annual Award for 2005 to Edward D. Breen, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Tyco International Ltd., at a sold-out dinner held at the Harvard Club of New York City on October 11. Among the many plaudits Mr. Breen has received for leading Tyco’s dramatic turnaround since joining the company in mid-2002, Business Week named him one of its "best managers" for 2004, citing his ability to combine "…no-nonsense leadership with strict financial controls…" and his focus on making "…Tyco a model of corporate governance."
