Foundation to Honor the Hon. Judith S. Kaye, Retired Chief Judge of the State of New York

At the Foundation’s Annual Award Dinner on Tuesday, October 27, in New York City, at which DuPont Chairman Chad Holliday will receive the Foundation’s Annual Award, Atlantic Legal will also present a Lifetime Achievement Award to the Hon. Judith S. Kaye, retired Chief Judge of the State of New York.

Judith S. Kaye was appointed to New Yorks highest court, the Court of Appeals, in 1983, becoming the first woman to occupy that post. In 1993, she was appointed Chief Judge of the State of New York, again making history as the first woman to occupy that post. The only New York Chief Judge ever to complete a full 14-year term, Chief Judge Kaye was reappointed in 2007 to a term that ended December 31, 2008, because of the states mandatory retirement provisions. She is New Yorks longest-serving Chief Judge.

The dinner will be held at the Harvard Club of New York City on Tuesday, October 27, with the cocktail reception beginning at 6:30 p.m., and the dinner at 7:30 p.m.; dress is business attire. For more details, please contact the Foundation at 914-834-3322 or email whslattery@atlanticlegal.org.
