The Institute for a Competitive Workforce, an Affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, has published a report discussing the consequences of so many of the nation’s failing public schools, and how charter schools can provide a meaningful alternative to parents and students. The report, ‘Corporations, Chambers and Charters’ , explains how charters are established and work and discusses how the private sector can support the many charters that are providing meaningful public school alternatives.
