Atlantic Legal Foundation is proud to announce that its Annual Award for 2009 will be presented to Chad Holliday, Chairman of the Board of DuPont. Mr. Holliday will be honored at a dinner to be held at the Harvard Club of New York City, 35 West 44th Street, on Tuesday, October 27, 2009. The reception begins at 6:30 p.m. in Harvard Hall, and the dinner begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Clubs Main Dining Room; dress is business attire.
Mr. Holliday became Chairman of the Board of DuPont on January 1, 1999 and retired from DuPont as CEO on January 1, 2009. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, and he is past chairman of: the Business Roundtable’s Task Force for Environment, Technology and Economy; the World Business Council for Sustainable Development; The Business Council; and the Society of Chemical Industry American Section. Mr. Holliday serves on the board of directors of Deere & Co., CH2MHILL, ClimateWorks Foundation and is chair emeritus of the board of directors of Catalyst . In addition, he is chairman of the U.S. Council on Competitiveness and is a founding member of the International Business Council. He co-authored Walking the Talk, a book which details the business case for sustainable development and corporate responsibility.
