His presentation included discussion of current public health topics of concern and questions, including, for example, Do cell phones cause brain cancer?  Does BPA threaten our health?  How safe are certain dietary supplements, especially those containing exotic herbs or small amounts of toxic substances?  Is the HPV vaccine safe?  The audience peppered Dr. Kabat with questions, and he offered insightful debate and perspectives from his own research, as well as anecdotes from his many colleagues, collaborators, and detractors.
